12/18/08, Thursday - I have way too many other critical things to deal with to properly keep on top of "Domain Name Deals Of The Day" or Auctions. Properly setting either of them up will have to wait at least several weeks until I have a lot more time available. When I start either of these activities, I want to do them right, and be able to pay attention to them!
**In the meantime, the very difficult economy has seriously affected my domain name sales! As such I'm open to considering reasonable offers for most of my domain names. If there are any names that you're serious about acquiring, and you're ready to make a fast deal and quick payment, go ahead and make me an offer... even though it might even be below the posted "Minimum Offer". Until the economy greatly improves, I'm willing to make reasonable deals. Thanks!

8/1/08 - I'm STUNNED! None of the many interested parties stepped up to purchase Amber-Coast.com before it hit the $5,000 offer that I already had for it. Maybe they didn't believe that I had a real offer for $5,000. As a result, there is a very happy buyer at $5,000!
7/18/08 - As you might have noticed, the first Reverse Auction for Top Web Names™ began recently on 7/6/08. I started the "Buy It Now" Reverse Auction price for Amber-Coast.com at a very low $21,000. Because of the many responses to my announcement emails, and independent inquiries, there are many interested parties on the mailing list to receive email alerts each time I lower the price. Because of this I expected a good name like this to be sold right away. However, after 12 days... the auction is still ongoing... and it's all the way down to $13,000! Perhaps the tough economy, oil & gas prices, the housing crisis, banks closing, fires in California, etc., etc. are all contributing to conservative spending? If the party who made an offer of $5,000 for it, gets it at that price, the problems in the economy will surely be lucky for them!

5/08 - FINALLY... after seemingly endless delays, "Top Web Names™" is online for initial public testing.
There is still more to be done, so I won't be formally announcing it or begin advertising until many more names have been added and all the "bugs" have been found and fixed.
I've gone over the layout and functionality many, many times to make it be as easy to use and as user friendly as possible, and checked and checked for potential "bugs"... stuff that doesn't work right. I hope that I've caught and fixed them all. However, you know how that can go. If you notice something that doesn't seem right... or just doesn't work, or could be improved, etc., please let me know through the "Feedback" form. Thanks!
